The Cuvée Anne is a barrel selection and fully sourced from the Eola-Amity Hills, perhaps America’s greatest Chardonnay appellation. It’s here that Ken Pahlow has helped lift the appellation and Oregon’s Chardonnay to acclaim through his Walter Scott wines. Smoky aromatics of chipped flint and grilled lemon peel come to the fore with an edgy brilliance. This blend of top sites is naturally fermented with minimal battonage as it spends 12 months in 50% new French oak. The palate soars, with notes of kefir lime, salted lemon wedge, and an electric acidity that carries through to the briny seaspray finish.
