Black cherries, pepper, leather, some meaty notes, as well as incense, all emerge from the glass. Beautifully textured and full-bodied, it has ripe, velvety tannins and a great finish. This is a ripe, concentrated, complex wine that will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and see its 20th birthday in fine form. Drink 2027-2042.
