Ensuing vintages will increase in volume as the vineyard comes fully online. The wine is set to retail for $150 per bottle, a price point decidedly on the low end of Napa Cabernet bottlings, especially one from such a prominent production team and arguably the valley’s best known AVA.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e“We want wine to be more accessible,” says Favia. “And we also want people to know where it comes from and how it’s being made. We’ve been using regenerative and organic practices for decades, and now that approach is back in fashion, which is great. Just like my wide leg pants, finally!” she adds, with a light laugh.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOutside the farmhouse, which sits in the middle of the vineyard, are four large stakes marking where the corners of a new winery facility will be built. Groundbreaking is set for this spring, with a goal of vinifying the 2028 crop on site (the wine is currently being made in the Eleven Eleven facility near downtown Napa). “We are very excited to be a part of a new chapter that is about to be written about Napa Valley, and to have a wine and property that reconnects people with the land,” said a beaming Erickson.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA high-quality Napa Cabernet from a holistically farmed vineyard, with accessible production and (relatively) more modest price point.
