Domaine Rosier's series of Côte-Rôtie bottlings offer an interesting comparative tasting, but the Besset, made from 100% Syrah and matured in 50% new French oak offers a touch more depth, concentration and unctousness of cassis and preserved blueberry flavors, along with an invigorating granitic edge. Slim in body yet luscious and velveteen, it's a wine that's approachable already but should improve through 2030 at least.
