A final blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, the 2017 la Grave has a wonderfully expressive crushed blueberries and black cherries nose with suggestions of dried herbs, rose hips and fallen leaves plus a touch of spice box. Medium to full-bodied, firm and grainybuilt like a brick housewith a good core of blue and black fruits, it finishes long and savory.
