The DB4 is the starting cuvée of the Bryant lineup—it is a blend of Bryant Family Vineyard and BETTINA (with BETTINA to be released after extended bottle aging in the fall). As Bettina likes to say, the DB4 is the precocious younger sibling of BFV and BETTINA, and the 2023 vintage might be the strongest DB4 to date. The wine is composed of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 1% Merlot, and 6% Petit Verdot. Aged in 60% new, 40% neutral oak and totaling 700 cases, the 2023 DB4 is loaded with blue and red fruits and structured tannin.
