Monsieur Vincent noted that the yields here were quite correct in 2016 and the wine was showing quite nicely at the time of my visit, offering up a bright bouquet of apple, touches of tangerine and pink grapefruit, chalky soil tones, spring flowers, fresh almond and a whisper of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and zesty, with a fine core, very good cut and grip and a long, nascently complex and energetic finish. Good juice.
