Pouring a deep ruby/pink color, the NV Champagne Rose De Saignée Brut is initially a bit reserved in its aromatics of rhubarb, wild raspberries, spiced orange peel, and wet stones. The palate opens up more clearly and offers a lively and frothy mousse, with a juicy feel upfront and plenty of mineral-noted undercurrents that lead through the mid-palate and finish. This is a wine for all seasons and would be perfectly suited with Duck a l'Orange, roast pork, and Thanksgiving fare. Drink over the coming 6-8 years.
