Established in 1993, Louise Vineyard is named for Cristom Winegrower and Owner Tom Gerrie’s great-grandmother. Planted on the lowest slopes of the Cristom estate, Louise is more sheltered from the cold Pacific Ocean winds by a small forest and hillside and has the most geologically diverse soils with volcanic, marine sedimentary, and Missoula Flood silts. The resulting wines have softened, focused acidity, and intense complexity, with a richness contributed by the 26–30-year-old vines.

Tasting Notes: Redolent of dark blackberry bramble, red currant, and cola with savory tobacco and spice. Well-integrated tannins lead to a persistent finish.

"The Louise Vineyard is about 10% warmer than Jessie, and it also sees less wind, so these vines have life a little easier and as such, you see that in the wine's opulence. Aromas of dark bramble berries, black plum skin, and touches of savoury spice. The palate shows flashes of black tea, clove and rose hips alongside early-season blackberries. This site has a lot of geological complexity, and this structured Pinot will go the distance."
