This now 40 year old vineyard lies on the cool, marine influenced southwest side of Sebastopol a couple miles as the crow flies from the small town of Two Rock. Farmed by Randy Peters, who planted the site with his father in-law Tom Mukaida in the early 1980’s, after farming apples here on the fine Goldridge Soils since Tom purchased the property in the 1960’s. The source of both Pinot Noir and one our two Syrah bottlings. Randy allowed us to select the mix of Syrah and Viognier clones for the 1.7 acre Syrah block at planting in 2005.
