Complex and rich with tangy dried apricot, honeycomb, honeysuckle, marmalade and a hint of turmeric. Lush and sweet, but superbly well-balanced, with mouthwatering acidity that makes it quite a drinker-friendly Tokaji Aszú 5. Long and bright. Drink or hold.

Aromas of honey and black tea give way to peach, apricot and tropical fruit flavors in the mouth. This is a supremely focused and intense wine, yet it still delivers a creamy, hedonistic mouth feel. A pleasant apricot finish lingers. Perhaps the best Tokaji yet produced under the Vega Sicilia ownership.
