The 2019 Brut Rosé de Saignée La Confiance de Mon Père is 100% Meunier from the oldest parcel in the Les Bouts de La Ville lieu-dit in Cuisles and saw 168 hours of maceration. Deep and expressive, this Rosé is so impressive. The La Confiance is a terrific example of the Moussé house style. Cinnamon, crushed rocks and dried herbs all grace the long, persistent finish. Musky and potent with savory aromas of blood orange, incense, cranberry, and wild herbs, on the palate, its pillowy mousse leads to a full-bodied wine with a rich and incisive personality, balanced tension, and rich notes of orange oils and spice through its long finish. Broad and muscular, it's a serious rosé that can stand up to grilled steak. Drink 2024-2032.
